The point series race starts with a two-lap swim loop, with a short beach run between laps. Followed by some sweet singletrack on the two-loop mountain bike leg. The race finishes with a ridiculously awesome 5-mile trail run. There is a relay option for this race.

The triathlon race course starts with a two lap swim in warm clear waters of a mountain lake and the duathlon starts with a 2.7 mile semi-technical trail run. After the first segment, all racers head out to complete two laps of a mountain bike course that includes twisty lakeside singletrack, wide fire roads, smooth grassy sections, and a few rock gardens. There are 4 aid stations on each lap of the bike course. Once completing the mountain bike course, racers transition to a 5.7 mile run that has rooty trails, smooth open flats, and a few moderate climbs. There are 3 aid stations on the run course.

Awards will be presented to the top five male and female, age group finishers, and to the top five relay teams. Awards will be presented after the race at the awards ceremony.

Triathlon Age Groups include:
15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+, Challenged Athlete Division

Triathlon Relay Divisions include:
Co-Ed, Female, Male

RULES & INFO

The information below may be from a previous edition of the event, and is subject to change.

Race Rules

  • Race-provided swim caps must be worn during the swim.

  • Portable music players or any device requiring earphones are not permitted.

  • Race numbers must be worn on the front and must be visible at all times.

  • Pets and Pacers are not allowed on the course.

  • Respect other racers, volunteers, race staff, and the environment. No littering.

  • Poor sportsmanship may result in disqualification.

  • Racers must notify race officials if they drop out of the race.

  • Stay on designated trails.

  • No e-bikes

Bicycles

  • Helmet use is mandatory. All racers are required to wear a CPSC, ANSI, or SNELL certified bicycling helmet while biking.

  • Mountain bikes with at least a front suspension system are recommended. Racers using cyclocross bikes will not receive an official time
