NO HEADPHONES.

This is a safety issue. While we at Shendo Cat Racing generally discourage using headphones while racing, it is particularly pertinent at Black Canyon. This course consists almost entirely of singletrack with a ton of exposure. You need to be aware of your surroundings. When you pass someone you, they need to be able to hear you coming. If you are near a rattlesnake – you need to hear its warning! If you are found wearing headphones at any time you sacrificed to the gremlins. NO EXCEPTIONS. (P.S. no one wants to hear your music blaring from a speaker either).
