As one of the pinnacle events on the XTERRA Trail Run World Series calendar, the XTERRA Americas Trail Run Championships will host a high-quality field of runners from Canada to Chile and beyond.
“Oak Mountain boasts an extensive, award-winning network of singletrack trails that provide the ultimate playground for trail runners. It’s an epic place to run and our athletes are going to love it,” said XTERRA US Technical Director, Kirk Ermels.
Surrounding the racing action is a family-friendly festival focused on delivering a premium outdoor lifestyle experience for athletes, spectators, destinations, and community members alike featuring live music, beer gardens, food trucks, and more.
The Championship weekend of events also includes 5K and 10K fun runs and a Kids K on the same day, all part of a massive weekend of endurance sports events that includes off-road triathlons, mountain bike races, live music, bbq, and camping.
Runner’s will be able to enjoy an evening at the park on Saturday evening, and then be treated to an action-packed XTERRA Short Track off-road triathlon race after their run on Sunday that showcases the sports fastest XTERRA triathletes.
