High Level Coaching Experience

I have coached over 500 athletes, including multiple professional XTERRA and Ironman athletes, including XTERRA World Champion, Mauricio Mendez.

Organized and run over 25 international triathlon camps globally, attended by over 1,000 athletes.

Our current camp, the 4 day, The Braveheart Highland Games, attracts 100 athletes to San Diego in January each year, and was voted by Triathlete Magazine as the "Best Value for Money Triathlon Training Camp in the US.”

Authors of the best-selling book, "The Brave Athlete" -- a mental skills guide for endurance athletes. Sold over 35,000 copies.

We also have 10 Braveheart Coaches who work under us. Across all of our Braveheart Coaches we now have an athlete roster of >200 athletes globally.

Philosophy

As an athlete with >25 years of experience racing at the elite level (triathlon and mountain biking) and having been coached by some of the biggest names in the sport, my coaching philosophy reflects the convergence of science-based techniques blended with the art of practical experience. The first core assumption is that you are more than a data point – With my sport psychologist husband, Dr Simon Marshall, we coach the person first, the athlete second. I also believe that strength and muscle durability are cornerstones to speed for the off-road athlete. Once I figured this out as an athlete, I went from being a mid-pack pro to winning 5 professional World Titles and have helped hundreds of athletes catapult their own performances to new levels.
